Brush Artistry 2

A few years ago a composer friend of mine was searching for some good sounding brush samples to use in something he was working on. He couldn’t find any and asked if he could record me playing brushes as I had a unique aesthetic (his words). Out of this encounter, we decided to produce a whole library of these samples and Brush Artistry was born (btw “sample library” is music-speak for “stock art” or “stock photography”).

Because of the success of Brush Artistry (we’ve heard it on Arrested Development, 30 Rock and Community), we decided that it was time to take a stab at another one uniquely titled Brush Artistry 2.

This is the first piece of design that will lead the charge.  This look will drive to the eco-system that is planned for the launch of the product later this summer. This art direction will be translated into a website as well as other print ephemera and possibly a Facebook fan page and Twitter feed.

Projects like this are satisfying as I can honestly say that everything you’ll see and hear will be 100% me. Enjoy…
